Happy Friday folks. I'm back home from vacation. I miss the warm beaches but it's good to be home. As I'm continuously setting up this site, I’m getting ready to post different types of content. Content like, gear reviews, travel stories, and city guides. I'm looking forward to writing a bit more so keep an eye out for those posts coming soon. But, for now, let's get into this week’s playlist.
This week’s playlist is about funky beats, mixing, and sampling. The inspiration comes from the song “Frontier Psychiatrist” by The Avalanches. My dad put this song on one of his famous "CMR Mix" CDs when I was a kid. I loved the hectic mashup of mixing and sampling. So, this week's edition is full of tracks that sample, mix, and feature creative beats. It blends instrumental beat tracks with some of my favorite hip-hop tracks.
